This is the first printing of The View From The Edge: Life And Landscape Of Beverly Johnson. It was published in La Crescenta by Mountain N'Air Books in 1997. The book measures 227mm tall x 152mm, and has 190 pages, 40 b/w photos. Biography of Johnson, leading female rock climber of the 1970s, 1st woman to solo El Capitan, intrepid explorer & cinematographer. She also crossed Greenland on skis, travelled to remote regions worlwide including Antarctica. She perished in helicopter crash while heli-skiing in Nevada in the same accident that claimed Frank Wells.

CONDITION: Original glossy pictorial soft cover. Very good condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, tight binding, clean, very minor cover wear. Price: $17.
